Technical Training Solutions is a UK organisation based in Rochester, Kent in the South East of England. The courses we provide are available as open courses for individuals to attend in our offices at Rochester and we also provide the courses on customers' premises throughout the British Isles and overseas. We provide training for large companies like GSK and BAE, smaller companies like Thatchers Cider, as well as self-employed people working for themselves. Some of our candidates are in the process of looking for work and the courses can greatly enhance their employment prospects.
Please take a tour of our internet pages. You will find that the courses have been grouped into three main categories: electrical, mechanical and instrumentation courses. This reflects the occupational divisions found in UK industry and makes it easier to find the course you're looking for.
Once you've found the course you like you can read the brochure description of the course (the traditional way of describing training courses) but we go a lot further by adding a detailed description that talks through exactly what the candidates would do on the course - this includes extracts from the course notes and photographs of the equipment used. A downloadable, printer-friendly 'storyboard' is included on each of these pages.
Other pages include FAQs and a News page. On the Testimonials page there are copies of feedback forms that the candidates have completed, magazine articles about us and opinions (freely given) from some of our customers. There's also a section about us; where you can read about the history of our company, who we are, what we do and how we design the courses. This page also describes the value we put on clearly-stated course descriptions and the importance of using detailed course programmes that specify each of the learning outcomes intended. Throughout the courses this is achieved using a practical approach so that the candidates are able to demonstrate the skills promised on the course objectives in the training room to our instructors. Assessments are also described here and you can read about why limiting the number of course participants allows the assessment process to employ naturally occurring evidence that then enables us to make proper competence-based claims on the candidates' certificates. A demo of one of our certificates is also shown here.
A further page is dedicated to the latest brochure and on this page there are also some very old brochures going back to 1984 that we have archived there.
When you know which course you would like to attend you can then go to the latest dates list and select a date that suits you. If you would like to book the course to run on your premises then email or call us to select a suitable date.
We also publish two popular reference books called 'Electricians Guides'. For more information on these please visit the Electricians Guide Books page.
If you've got any questions about the courses then please let us know.
